Flow Rate: The flow rate of a fuel pump measures the volume of fuel it can deliver within a given time period. This is typically measured in gallons per hour (GPH) or liters per hour (LPH). To ensure adequate fuel supply, the flow rate should match the engine's fuel consumption requirements.
Pressure Rating: The pressure rating of a fuel pump specifies the maximum pressure it can generate to ensure proper fuel delivery. It is commonly measured in pounds per square inch (psi) or bar. The fuel pump's pressure rating should meet or exceed the engine manufacturer's specifications for optimal fuel system performance.
Voltage Rating: Electric fuel pumps operate using electrical power from the vehicle's electrical system. The voltage rating indicates the power supply requirement of the fuel pump, which is typically 12 volts in most automotive applications. However, certain vehicles or aftermarket fuel pumps may have different voltage requirements.
